Still River Lumber Company is a family owned wholesale distributor of lumber products. Our roots in this industry go back over 60 years, providing us with a deep understanding of the industry, extensive product knowledge and a broad supply network consisting of some of the finest sawmills in North America.         The company is named for the Still River, which flows behind our offices in Brookfield. Originating in New York State, the river flows through downtown Danbury, CT then flows northward through Brookfield and New Milford before emptying into the Housatonic River. Having endured more than a century of pollution and abuse, the river is now enjoying a renaissance of recreational interest and cleanup efforts.
